Beginners Intensive Workshop
Are you looking to kick-start your pottery practise? Join this week-long ceramics workshop with Véronique Caron Bossé in our relaxed country side studio!
From July 7th to 11th, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, experiment with the techniques of throwing, shaping, sculpting, and decorating pieces. A sixth day will take place on July 26th, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, to allow you to glaze pieces that have been fired for the first time.
Program:
- Introduction to throwing
- Hand-building techniques using slabs, coils, and pinched bowls
- Sculptural techniques
- Decorative techniques (sgraffito, underglazes and engobes, etc.)
- Glazing techniques
Groups are made up of 10 students. There are five pottery wheels, so time is divided between throwing and shaping techniques.
All classes are bilingual. Materials and firing are included.
Beginner classes are bilingual and suitable for ages 7 years and up. (Please note that children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult also registered to the activity).
Cancellation Policy

Emplacement
Notre atelier est situé au 95 Ch. Colbert, Wakefield, QC. Merci de vous présenter à l'heure pour le cours, portez des vêtements et des souliers qui peuvent se salir. Notez que nous n'avons pas d'eau potable sur le site, alors c'est une bonne idée d'apporter une bouteille d'eau.
